Piccadilly Circus Polaroid Manipulation

Another SX-70 Polaroid Manipulation (no Photoshop). I didn’t get around to manipulating this until several hours after I took the photo, so it could have turned out a little better- the emulsion tends to harden very quickly. Ideally, you should do it within 15-30 minutes maximum after the photo develops.

It may look like a typical suburban backyard barbeque, but it’s in London, and the sausages are vegan (no animal matter of any sort) and made in South Africa (Fry’s brand).

Had been a while since I’d been to Notting Hill. As usual, the place was heaving with tourists here and there – definitely a place to hold onto your bag. Stopped and had a nice quick lunch at Mike’s cafe, then had a look at some of the speciality bookshops across the road.
Henri Cartier-Bresson Dies
Renowned Magnum and Life photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson has died aged almost 96, it was reported today. Cartier-Bresson is best known for his “decisive moment” photography. His many insightful images have inspired several generations of photographers today.

Broadway Market

A dog and its owner talk to someone operating a smoothie stand at Broadway Market, East London, which is a new market in Hackney we just stumbled across while walking along the Regent’s Canal – there was a part of it we couldn’t walk along because there was some building going on, so we exited by the gate and ended up seeing some interesting activity!
