Finsbury Park, London

finsbury.jpg
Just before we did the Parkland Walk, I decided to take a photo of this home in Finsbury Park, London. A rare glimpse of sunlight and blue skies on an April afternoon, indeed!

The walk goes along a disused railway which has been overtaken by nature. It is rather wild. You can see some more photos at NYCLondon.com.

Housekeeping stuff: All my previous blog entries allow you to click on the image and open it in a new window. This was rather pointless because the images on the blog are exactly the same size as the pop-ups, so from now on I'll just be embedding the pictures within the blog entries themselves.

The photo of Finsbury park is fantastic for many reasons, but above all because is the explosion of nature which is our fist need, refuge and stimulus for our fantasy and joy of living. I'm Italian and live in Italy, yet I love Britain and London in particula. When I was a university student I went to London and found an accomodation just close to Finsbury Park. So I have sweet memmories of that area and of the park where I used to go to relax and study.
Greetings from Italy

PS.: I love photos and I have lovely ones that I can give you for free...and they are also concerned with nature and life
