Yellow rice, chick peas and mock abalone (gluten)

Indonesian yellow rice (turmeric), chick peas and curry, mock abalone (fried gluten), tomatoes and raisins.

Posted by: ninds at May 7, 2004 07:48 PMWell, it doesn't taste anything like abalone, it's just a gluten substitute with a fleshy texture. You can get these canned fake meats from any Chinese/Asian grocery store.
