Eiffel Tower, rain

Some thunderstorms on Saturday evening in Paris did little to threaten the quality of our time there last weekend. At just 2 hours and 35 minutes from London Waterloo, Paris is an accessible weekend destination. This was taken on the top floor of the Georges Pompidou centre at around 8.30pm.

I like the fact that this looks like one of those old black and white photos that was colored by hand. The rain dots help that impression, too. Nice!
