Dusty lorry
A couple of quick mobile phone pics today…

I’m not sure how long people have scrawled dusty graffiti on vehicles, but this one in front of the Barbican Centre gave us a laugh as we walked by.
New photography exhibitions
The Times has reviewed two new photography exhibitions now showing in London. The first is at the V&A entitled Twilight: Photography in the magic hour. The second is at the Barbican and covers 20th century European photography. It’s called In the face of history.
Sunday afternoon

Bye little flat…
Just when I thought we’d become settled in our nice little flat, the landlords decide they want to sell up and now we have to move again in a month’s time. How depressing; I thought we’d be in this place at least another year. Sigh. Now the process of packing, moving, changing addresses and so on again resumes — three times in the space of two years. Guess that is what happens when you rent a place, but we can’t afford to buy anything in the area we are living now! I am going to miss our view and we are going to have to move our little orange tree from his happy home. Anyway; we hope to not move very far — and look out for our random stuff being sold on eBay!
JUST MOVED
I’ve just moved the site to a new server, so pardon the appearance!
Another London blog!
Checked out Perfect Blue Sky’s photo blog yet? I asked Chris (a former colleague and an all-round entertaining guy) very nicely if I could link to his page off mine as I have been feeling quite guilty that I haven’t had much of a chance to take any London photos lately.
The one of the blokes at the kiosk took them by surprise, as he’d pretended to hide his camera at the time then took a sneak photo moments later.
I was in Ireland last weekend, and I’d like to post some of the photos here, but they aren’t strictly London-related, are they? However, if you’re interested in seeing some pinholes check out NYCLondon for more – and a photo I took of the camera in question.
London snow photos on display
Some of my London snow photos will be complementing a short performance of Hans Christian Andersen’s The Little Match Girl, to be held at the British Library on 27 June at 6.30pm featuring actress Paula Wilcox. Tickets to the event, which lasts for an hour, are 6 pounds and can be purchased from the British Library website.
Christmas time
Merry Christmas and a happy welcoming to 2005, everyone. Probably won’t have time to post anything until the New Year; hope to see you again soon.
PS: Checked out the Pillow Fight pics on R.G’s site yet?
In business!
FINALLY got my battery charger from dabs.com. And HOPEFULLY I’ll begin taking more photos and posting again – at least before autumn disappears. We’re moving house so it may not be until the end of the month though.
Need a recharge
Since our place got broken into, I’ve spent the past month waiting on Amazon for an elusive replacement battery charger for my digital camera. Unfortunately, the estimated delivery time of 5-11 October was, surprise, surprise, altered on the 11th to 15-22 October. So, I’ve gone elsewhere for that! If anyone knows any good online places to buy cheap camera stuff, post it here!
