London snow and Celebrity
London is covered in snow (well, slush now) and I wandered around Regent’s Park at lunch. I was also lucky enough to be able to wander around the private Park Square Gardens right next to Regent’s Park, where there was still a lot of ‘virgin snow’ around. Speaking of virgins, in the morning I was in Covent Garden and bumped into a very wet Richard Branson, head of the Virgin group as I was attending a press conference to launch his new media company. He was accompanied by the burlesque performer Dita von Teese.
More London snow pictures next time!

Open Squares Weekend

It’s Open Squares weekend in London – a good opportunity for photos! We wandered around the Inner Temple area, and saw the Japanese Roof Garden at the School of Oriental and African Studies in London. Tomorrow we’ll visit some of the private gardens in EC2.
This is the first time I’ve actually shot in RAW format, so it’ll take a bit of getting used to.

Battersea Park

I’ve just discovered that Battersea Park in South London is a delightful place to visit on a weekend. In fact, I’d never been there before until yesterday. There is a diverse range of flora and fauna including Britain’s largest hybrid strawberry tree. This is not a photo of the tree, it’s just a nice park kind of photo.
